About The Centre
At Burton Road Child Care and Early Learning Centre we recognise the importance of child development within the early years. We believe in the importance of creating a positive nurturing environment for children, families and educators to create a strong sense of belonging for everyone.
We always provide children with a nurturing, comfortable and stimulating environment for play and routine activities. Our practice is based on every child being included, respected regardless of their capabilities, background, beliefs and cultural values. Within nurturing relationships educator’s will guide children to explore their environment and give them the time and opportunities to learn at their own pace.
To ensure children’s needs are met, we have a balance of sleep, relaxation, physical and learning activities throughout the day. We will create a culture in the environment that offers children an understanding of the world and its people as whole, this will offer them a better understanding of sustainability for the future.
Educational Program
Our education programmes are play based, holistic and flexible and based on the child’s needs and interests. We follow the Reggio Emilia approach within our setting and programming practice, and acknowledge that all children are effective communicators that are capable of constructing their own learning to find their place in the world through interactions with others.
Our educational programs are based on The Early Years Learning Framework and also adhere to the ACECQA and National Quality Framework.
Session Times
We offer a flexible child care solution for our parents consisting of the option of either 6, 10 or 12 hour sessions.
The Community
The educational team acknowledge the importance of cultures within our community. We welcome and celebrate different cultures within our services.
We have developed community relationships that will enhance children learning and offer opportunities for parents and professionals to visit our centre.
